If your clients need school-calendar data without collecting and cleaning it themselves, you don't have to build it either — and neither do they.
Aventience runs a launch partner program for forecasting, planning, and analytics providers. You can introduce a client to the Aventience U.S. School Calendar Dataset — clean (normalized, documented, and validated) U.S. public-school calendar data — and help arrange their purchase. The license and the data always belong to that client, never to you, and a referral earns you transaction attribution and rebate credit on their qualified spend. Version one of the program is run directly by our team, by hand.
Who this is for
The launch partner program is for forecasting, planning, and analytics service providers — firms that work with more than one client and think school-calendar data could be a useful demand signal for one or more of them. If that's you, this page explains exactly what you can do, what stays the client's alone, and how a referral gets credited. If you're an end client evaluating whether to bring your own provider into the conversation, this page describes the same relationship from the other side.
How client-owned licensing works
Whoever configures an order, and whoever pays for it, the license and the data always belong to the named end client — confirmed by a verified employee of that client's own organization. Aventience treats that client as the licensee in every case. A partner never holds, and never becomes, the licensee.
That also means a purchase is scoped to one specific, authorized client relationship. It isn't a seat you can carry across your broader client base: if more than one of your clients wants this data, each one needs their own purchase, and your access in connection with any one client is authorized for that relationship specifically — it doesn't extend to a different client without its own separate authorization.
What partners may do
- Introduce a client to Aventience's school-calendar data and explain how it works.
- Help arrange that client's order — working through district selection and pricing, and coordinating the purchase on the client's behalf.
- Use a referral code or link to attribute one specific client transaction to yourself.
- Earn rebate credit on qualified, settled spend from a transaction properly attributed to you.
What partners may not do
- Buy a single license and use it, or extend it, across more than one client. Every client needs their own purchase — that doesn't change based on who helped arrange it.
- Hold, claim, or transfer any entitlement to the data. The entitlement belongs to the end client, never to the partner, regardless of who configured or paid for the order.
- Use one client relationship's authorization to reach a different client's data.
- Change what a client pays. A referral changes who gets credited for the transaction — it never changes the client's price.
- Describe this as a formal partnership, reseller agreement, exclusivity arrangement, certification, or technical integration with Aventience. It's a referral and attribution relationship, and nothing more should be implied from it.
How referrals are credited
A referral code or link attributes exactly one client transaction to you. It doesn't change what the client pays. It also doesn't carry forward on its own — if that same client makes a later, separate purchase and you want it credited too, the link needs to be used again for that specific purchase.
A credited transaction accrues rebate on a marginal-tier basis, calculated on qualified spend: the client's actual settled payments over the preceding rolling 12 months, net of taxes, refunds, chargebacks, unpaid amounts, and discounts. We're not publishing specific tier percentages or breakpoints on this page — those terms are still being finalized, and we'd rather describe the mechanism honestly now than publish figures that could change. Rebate is only earned once a transaction has actually settled, never on an invoiced or still-pending amount.
How version one of the program runs
Right now, enrollment in the partner program, referral tracking, and rebate payout are all handled directly by our team rather than by any automated system. When you refer a client, someone here confirms the relationship by hand, tracks the referral, and processes payout manually once the client's transaction has settled. That's simply how the program works at this stage — every referral gets a person's direct attention, not a placeholder we're waiting to replace.
Bringing a client's order to us
If you're ready to bring a client's order to Aventience, the process works the same way it does for any buyer: tell us what your client needs, and we'll work directly with you and your client to select districts, calculate price from our published formula, and put the order together — using your referral link so the transaction is properly credited to you.
Contact — partner interest
Want to talk through whether the partner program fits how you work with your clients? Tell us about your practice, and we'll walk through client authorization, referral crediting, and what a first referral would look like for your situation.

Aventience — Launch Partner Program
What it is: A referral program for forecasting, planning, and analytics service providers whose clients could benefit from the Aventience U.S. School Calendar Dataset — clean (normalized, documented, and validated) U.S. public-school calendar data.
Who owns what: The named end client always holds the license and owns the data entitlement — confirmed by a verified employee of that client's organization — regardless of who configures or pays for the order. A partner never holds, or becomes, the licensee.
Scope of access: Partner involvement is authorized per client relationship. One purchase covers one client; it is not reusable or portable across a partner's broader client base. Each additional client needs its own separate purchase and its own separate authorization.
What a partner may do:
- Introduce a client to Aventience's data and explain how it works.
- Help arrange that client's order.
- Attribute one transaction per referral via a code or link.
- Earn rebate credit on qualified, settled spend from a properly attributed transaction.
What a partner may not do:
- Reuse a single license across more than one client.
- Hold or claim any entitlement to the data.
- Reduce what the client pays — referral credit never changes the client's price.
- Represent this as a formal partnership, reseller agreement, exclusivity, certification, or technical integration.
How referrals are credited: A referral code or link attributes exactly one transaction. It doesn't change the client's price, and it must be reused for any later, separate purchase to be credited again. Credited transactions accrue rebate on a marginal-tier basis, calculated on the client's qualified, settled spend (net of taxes, refunds, chargebacks, unpaid amounts, and discounts) over the preceding rolling 12 months. Specific tier percentages and breakpoints are not published here; they are still being finalized. Rebate is earned only once a transaction has settled.
How version one runs: Enrollment, referral tracking, and rebate payout are all handled manually, by our team, after each transaction settles. No automated partner portal, ledger, or payout system exists yet.
Get in touch: Contact us about the partner program — Aventience business email. To bring a specific client's order to us, the same manually arranged ordering process applies as for any buyer: tell us what's needed, and we'll work directly with you and your client to put the order together.
